Launching Nov 6? Start with my launch-day checklist (MSRP, where to buy, scams to avoid) and what the hits are worth.

Delta Reign launches in English on November 6, 2026, so nobody knows yet what the English cards will sell for. What we do have is the Japanese set it's based on, Storm Emeralda, which came out July 31 and has months of real sales. That's the best guide we've got. I'll update this page once English prices settle after launch.

One note: English card numbers and rarity names differ from Japanese. A Japanese "Special Art Rare" becomes a "Special Illustration Rare" in English, and a "Mega Ultra Rare" becomes a "Mega Hyper Rare."

The chase cards, with Japanese prices

These are TCGplayer market prices for the Japanese Storm Emeralda cards as reported by The Lab TCG on October 9, 2026. They are not English prices.

Mega Golisopod ex 107/076Special Art Rare$13.84

1. Mega Rayquaza ex

This is the set. Rayquaza has been one of the most collected Pokémon for years, and every outlet I follow names its Special Illustration Rare and gold card as the top chase. The Lab TCG points out that in the last four sets, English gold cards sold for well under their Japanese price, while English Special Illustration Rares held up much better. So the SIR may be the more valuable English card once things settle. Nobody knows yet.

2. Raikou ex

The No. 2 card in Japanese prices. Legendary beasts draw both collectors and players.

3. Zinnia's Trust

Zinnia is tied to Rayquaza's story in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, and character Trainer illustration rares have tended to hold value.

4. The other Megas

Mega Golurk ex, Mega Golisopod ex and Mega Malamar ex. Their Special Illustration Rares are the secondary chases.

5. Legendary Stadium pairs

TCGRadar reports six Stadium cards whose artwork connects in pairs, and that both halves of a pair come in the same pack. Completionists will want both.

6. The ETB Kyogre

Per TCGRadar, the Kyogre Illustration Rare isn't in the English main set and only comes in the Elite Trainer Box.

Should you buy singles at launch?

I'd wait. The Lab TCG tracked the last English set, Pitch Black: its top Special Illustration Rare fell about 61% from launch day to early October. English prices tend to open high and come down as more packs get opened. If you pull a big card, launch week is usually the best time to sell.

Protect your pulls: penny sleeves · magnetic holders. Before grading, read PSA vs CGC for Pokémon. Buying the set? See Delta Reign ETB and where to buy.
