Launching Nov 6? Start with my launch-day checklist (MSRP, where to buy, scams to avoid) and what the hits are worth.
Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Delta Reign comes out on Friday, November 6, 2026. If you're planning to buy it, the Elite Trainer Box is the product most people want. Here's what's in it, what it should cost, and where I'd look so you don't pay a scalper double.
Release date
The Pokémon Company lists the official English release date as November 6, 2026. Prerelease events at local game stores started October 24. The set is the English version of Japan's Storm Emeralda, which came out July 31, 2026.
What's in the Delta Reign Elite Trainer Box
From Pokémon's official product showcase:
- 9 Delta Reign booster packs
- A full-art foil Kyogre promo card
- 65 card sleeves
- 40 Energy cards
- Damage-counter dice, a coin-flip die and a plastic coin
- A player's guide and a storage box
The Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box has 11 packs instead of 9 and two Kyogre promos, one stamped with the Pokémon Center logo. It's sold only through Pokémon Center.
One thing collectors care about: TCGRadar reports that the Kyogre Illustration Rare was left out of the English main set and only comes with the ETB.

What it should cost
The ETB's MSRP is $49.99. Preorder prices have been running about double that: SealedCompare listed the TCGplayer market price at $106.15 on October 24, 2026. I wouldn't pay that. New sets usually restock in the first few weeks after launch. Prices for every product will change once the set is out, so treat any preorder price as temporary.
Every Delta Reign product
- Booster Display Box: 36 packs. The lowest cost per pack if you're opening a lot.
- Elite Trainer Box: 9 packs plus accessories and the Kyogre promo.
- Pokémon Center ETB: 11 packs, two promos. Pokémon Center only.
- Booster Bundle: 6 packs, no accessories.
- Build & Battle Box: a ready-to-play deck, booster packs and a promo. These show up at prerelease events first.
- Blisters: TCGRadar lists several, including Seel, Spritzee, Ampharos and Delphox blisters. I haven't seen U.S. prices for all of them yet.

Where I'd look to buy
- Pokémon Center: the only place for the Pokémon Center ETB.
- Big-box stores like Target, Walmart, Best Buy and GameStop usually carry new sets. Stock comes and goes, so check more than once.
- Your local game store: often the most reliable at launch, and they host the prerelease events.
- Amazon: check that the seller is Amazon itself or a seller you trust, because third-party listings can be marked up.
Should you buy at launch?
If you want to open it, buy at MSRP whenever you find it. If you're after one specific card, waiting usually wins. Singles tend to drop after launch week as more packs get opened. See my Delta Reign chase cards breakdown and my sealed products guide.
